Mila - Milia (Communally known as Whiteheads) are hardened keratin protein that have become trapped under the skin surface in a blind-duct, forming a hardened pearl under the skin and can be anywhere on the face. They are completely harmless but can look undesirable, so often people will want them removed. They need an extraction tool to gently break the skin and allow an exit point. There occurrence can be minimised by good morning and evening cleanse, moisturise, and to exfoliate the skin once or twice a week depending on age and skin type, to keep the pores clean and prevent blockages.

Syringomas - are benign bumps, usually found on the upper cheeks and lower eyelids. They are caused by and overgrowth of cells within the eccrine (sweat) glands. Again harmless and can be removed.

Xanthelasma - can look similar to syringomas but they are yellowish-white fatty deposits under the skin on the inner parts of your upper and lower eyelids. They can be related to a high cholesterol diet, so getting your cholesterol level checked at the GP's is a good idea. These are also harmless and can be removed.

Sebaceous Hyperplasia - this is essentially enlarged or prolapsed sebaceous glands that have protruded out forwards into the epidermis. They are harmless but need to be checked at a GP's because they can look very similar to skin cancer.

Big Bags Under The Eye - If bags are pronounced it is usually just fatty deposits and unfortunately tends to be genetic, ageing skin with less elasticity or can happen because people load the eye area with too much product trying to get rid of lines and wrinkles. Instead these creams can build up and form deposits under the skin leading to bags. So use a specific eye serums (they are lighter) and only use a tiny pea sized amount over the bony eye socket area, don't take product up to the lower eyelashes that's where the trouble will start. The only way to fix this issue is Blepharoplasty operation which repairs this type of problem.
